    Trinity Solar is seeking a Solar Electrical Apprentice for our Connecticut office located in Cheshire, CT. The Electrical Apprentice will work with the Licensed Electrician for an installation team to ensure that Trinity Solar installations are executed to code and meet Trinity Solar company standards.

    • Serve as the apprentice to a Licensed Electrician to complete PV solar installations;
    • Install electrical service equipment, wiring, and devices required for the installation of residential solar PV systems;
    • Ensure electrical systems meet company standard job specifications, the National Electrical Code, and other relevant local codes;
    • Assist in job safety and overall crew support including staging materials, general site work support, as well as site preparation and clean up; and,
    • Keep service van stocked properly.



    • National Electrical Code (NEC) knowledge required;
    • Solar experience is preferred but not required;
    • Prior work as Registered Electrical Apprentice in CT is preferred; and
    • Must be willing to work in attics, crawl spaces and rooftops.


    • Work safely on roofs for an extended period of time;
    • Safely ascend and descend ladders;
    • Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 to 50lbs; and,
    • Good mechanical skillset, such as: working with hands, tools, climbing, good sense of balance, bending, kneeling, crouching, etc.
