    ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

    Trinity Solar is seeking qualified candidates for the Installation Manager position for the Ronkonkoma branch in Long Island, NY. The Installation Manager is a full-time position which is responsible for the planning and logistics of several installation crews. An ideal candidate for the Installation Manager will be thorough and detail oriented in order to ensure all projects are properly staffed and handled in efficient timing.

    Responsibilities

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

    • W-2 salary position (commensurate with experience);

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage work for up to 11 installation crews, totaling 60 employees, including logistics, product and material movement;
    • Assign the employee responsibilities to insure proper execution and completion of the jobs on a timely basis;
    • Ensure job timeframes and deadlines are met;
    • Track employee hours on a per employee and per job basis;
    • Provide updates with job progress and modify plans to resolve delays, eliminate bottlenecks, and ensure projects do not remain behind schedule;
    • Update and maintain job schedules on Excel spreadsheets and/or Salesforce (Customer Relationship Management) software;
    • Communicate effectively with and provide job updates to Trinity Solar employees and subcontractors;
    • Communicate with corporate office by phone or email to deliver monthly and quarterly project status reports
    • Prepare project reports and emails as needed.

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor degree preferably in logistics related field and/or minimum 3-5 years scheduling and supervisory experience;
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat and the ability to learn computer programs quickly (we use Salesforce for customer relationship management software);
    • Expert at scheduling, time management and multi-tasking;
    • Team player with excellent customer service skills;
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
    • Familiarity with solar equipment and hardware preferred; and
    • Sense of humor a must!!
